Charmingly Restored 17th Century Holiday Cottage In Betws-y-Coed (Sleeps up to 11 in 5 bedrooms) #sbs business winner 7-8-2011 selected by Theo Paphitis of Dragons Den. Betws-y-Coed is North Wales' most popular inland resort. Surrounded by dense woodland and magnificent mountain country, this is a haven for walkers, photographers and artists. At Betws-y-Coed the River Conwy meets its three tributaries flowing from the west, and the beauty of the area is enhanced by cascading waterfalls, river pools and ancient bridges. Most famous of all are the magnificent Swallow Falls, situated where the Llugwy River hurls itself into a spectacular chasm. The village has shops, pubs and places to eat and is home to The Snowdonia National Park Visitor Centre. A charming, 17th century, stone built cottage, supremely located in the delightful village of Betws-y-Coed, the property is the oldest house in the village and was a former Coaching Inn known as the Miners Inn.
